Installation Method: Online Privyseal Conversion Tool
Unfortunately Apple Mail has been historically unsupportive in enabling HTML email messages or HTML signatures. There are ways around it, but require knowledge of HTML and you have to jump through some technical hoops.
We created a tool to enable you to copy and paste your seal into Apple Mail.
Step 1
1.1 Go to https://applemail.privyseal.com/
1.2 Paste your seal link in the First Field
1.3 Paste the certificate (credentials) link in the Second Field
1.4 Generate your email signature friendly PrivySeal & click on it to copy it to your clipboard.
Step 2: Apple Mail Preferences
2.1 Open Apple Mail
2.2 Go to Preferences
2.3 Click on Viewing
2.4 Make sure the “Load remote content in messages” box is ticked.
2.5 Go to Signatures and click on the email account you would like your PrivySeal to be added to.
Step 3: Add Signature
3.1 Add a New Signature.
3.2 Make sure the “Always match my default message font” box is unticked.
3.3 Click in the signature box & paste your PrivySeal. Be aware: Your seal image will not show as yet.
3.4 Close the Signatures window to save.
Step 4: Test Your Signature
4.1 Create a new mail. (Your PrivySeal will appear - the date & time should be current)
4.2 Send an Email to yourself.
4.3 Click on your PrivySeal to view your certificate.
Tips:
You can assign the signature to all or to a specific account.
Want to modify your signature? Make the change, click the Green button to Save the change and repeat the steps above.
